SKIN CARE TREATMENT

The skin is the outer covering of the body. It is the largest organ of the integumentary system. From the teenage our skin reacts because of hormone level rise and bodies change. Skin pigmentation is also responsible for skin type. Generally people have many types of skin like Oily, Dry, Normal, Combination, Sensitive.
Oily skin causes for many reasons like heredity, hormonal changes, improper diet, pregnancy, birth control pills. For taking care of oily skin wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. If you have been perspiring your face need more wash than twice. Cleansing is very important for oily skin. So use a gentle cleanser. If your skin is very much oily and you have acne you should look for ingredients like benzyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or beta-hydroxyl acid. Scrubbing is good for oily skin. Scrub your face once or twice a week. It reduce the excess sebum which leads to dead skin cells on the skin’s surface resulting in pimples, acne, whiteheads and blackheads, dull looking skin, dirt and renew the dead skin. Face mask is effective for oily skin. The face pack which contains kaolin and bandonite clay, sandalwood, fuller’s earth are very good for oily skin.

SKIN CARE TREATMENT
DRY SKIN:
There are many reasons for dry skin like cold weather with harsh winds, low humidity, working in air conditioned atmospheres for long period. Many people have genetically dry skin. Moisturizer is most effective for dry skin. Use a salt or sugar scrub in the shower and exfoliate your face with a mild scrub made for skin.dry skin should avoid tap water since it contains chlorine, fluoride and other undesirable chemicals. Once a week use an oatmeal soap, which will generally exfoliate your skin without irritation.
NORMAL SKIN:
Normal skin is not too dry and not too oily, no severe sensitivity, barely visible pores. Normal skin is blessing. One does not need to do much for this skin but drink plenty of water in a day will keep your skin fresh and tight. Use branded cosmetics. Before using cosmetics do cleansing of your skin use cleansing milk or fresh milk cream.
Combination skin type can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others such as the T zone (nose, forehead and chin).Use a good cleanser that does not contain any irritants or fragrance. Only use toners that are filled with a healthy dose of skin-repairing ingredients such as skin-identical ingredients, antioxidants, and cell-communicating ingredients. With regular use of a beta hydroxyl acid (BHA/salicylic acid) product or an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHAs, such as glycolic acid) product in a texture appropriate for your skin type (gel or liquid for oily, blemish-prone skin, or lotion for normal or dry skin), you will uncover the normal, healthy skin hiding underneath.BHA is especially helpful for normal, oily or blemish-prone skin because it not only exfoliates the surface of skin, it also exfoliates inside the pore to reduce pore size, unclog pores, and kill acne-causing bacteria. BHA is also a must for anyone struggling with blackheads and enlarged pores!
SENSITIVE SKIN:
Sensitive skin is almost always dry, soaping up with moisture products can lead to itching and peeling. Instead, wash with soaps specifically formulated for sensitive or dry skin; these products contain the relatively mild sodium laureth sulfate. Try Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser . Read labels to make sure you're getting laureth and not the more common lauryl. Before going outside use sun screen which contains benzophenones, and cinnamates, physical blocks contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which play nice with fragile skin.
